Action is developed in a certain parallel Universe where Nixon stands for the fifth term in what it was much helped by a victory with the Vietnamese war which, in turn, would be impossible without intervention of the doctor of Manhattan. Last – most powerful of people living on the Earth – some kind of incarnation of physicist-jadershchika John Ostermana who was lost during research experiment, and then revived, having found improbable possibilities. Now it exists regardless time and space, but it does its not only all-powerful, but also absolutely indifferent to the world of people. At the same time it is included into group of so-called Keepers – the usual Americans, thought up to itself(himself) sonorous names and put on bright suits to provide in streets an order. When Nixon has outlawed their activity, many of Keepers have swept on inclined – someone was lost, someone спился, someone has turned to the inutile person. But their time still will come.
