Young Lorin was born and has grown in provincial small town Glenvud, the State of Indiana, and always dreamt to be engaged in dance professionally. Lorin feels in itself forces for a decisive step – as her mother was the known dancer. One fine day Lorin goes to Chicago to arrive in dance school, but with a crash examination ruins: rhythmical movie girls under sounds r’n’b the jury has considered insufficiently sincere and insufficiently womanly. Having deceived the brother (which remained at home, being engaged in the garage which has remained in the inheritance), Lorin gets a job the waitress in night club Ruby's – where thanks to happy coincidence of circumstances soon there is a star of a scene number one. But unless she dreamt of it in the remote place? No, Lorin still dreams of the present professional career – and waits will not wait the second chance
